Fab Friday: The Signature Cocktail

Every bride and groom wants their wedding day to be fun & enjoyable. Over the years, we’ve seen all kinds of stuff incorporated into events to facilitate this fun… but let me tell you what is always a winner and by far less difficult to incorporate to go with any “theme”  – the Signature Cocktail (or siggy drink as we call it around Squad headquarters). The best part is that you can include the siggy drink through the duration of the event, no need to figure out how many hours to have it for, when it has to pack up, if it needs a host or dinner,  if it is going to include props or how much it will produce… and best of all, EVERYONE can partake for there is always a non-alcoholic version that can be served.

Other awesome traits of the siggy drink?  You can have a variety… 2 or 3 (his, hers, and the non-alcohol version), they can mach your color palette, you can give them fun, witty names, they’re great conversation topics for your guests, umm, they’re delicious!  They can be served in fun glassware, or if you are working with a limited budget, they will allow you to still serve liquor without breaking said budget AND look pretty if they have to be served in acrylic for a more casual event… Did we already mention they were fun?? One of our last clients, had guests mail-in their favorite cocktail with the RSVP’s and the top choices were featured at the wedding! You can have naming contests at the bridal shower, seriously, totally unlimited fun for days… which is highly recommended during your planning!

All the links below will take you to recipes for these yummy cocktails. Enjoy!
