Real Wedding | Balboa Park: Japanese Friendship Gardens

Tom and Akiko were married in the late Spring and their wedding day was absolutely beautiful because of it!! The dramatic clouds that danced around the sky all day were just stunning… I love clouds…especially when they are big & fluffly like cotton candy, they made such a great backdrop for their photos.

Perhaps my second favorite detail (besides the hundreds of paper cranes Akiko’s mom had made) was the tree which Tom & Akiko potted together during their ceremony. I had never seen anyone do anything like this and the fact they were going to plant it at their home afterward was so sweet! Can you picture a tree growing old with you? I think it is so romantic!

Oh Happy Day!
