Real San Diego Wedding { Immaculata Church & Dana Mission Bay}

Today I share with you another aubergine beauty! Aubergine (which is literally French for eggplant… which is purple…) is one of those colors that will never go missing in the wedding color palette, it can be combined with so many accenting colors and it’s hues are endless! Besides, being that it is a primary color as well, you really can’t go wrong. Josel chose to accent it with silver & black, bit of a bold move many thought, but it looked magnificent and I was happy to encourage her!

Josel & Brad were married in the Spring time at the stunning Catholic church that is the Immaculata on the equally gorgeous USD campus. It was a “half” (she is originally from here) destination wedding that took them from the frigid DC snow to the gorgeousness that is our fine city for fun in the sun! I remember this wedding like it was yesterday! The Bridal Party was among one of my faves that year, combining refined young men and crazy fun girls leads to a lot of laughs and good times between the formalities that have to take place in traditional Filipino weddings.

The rad shots below were taken by Even Bishop Photography, who was actually the second shooter for the event and not a diva like the main photographer who never even acknowledged my request for a few pics of the day… if only all second shooters for diva photographers were like him! Love you Evan!
