Orange, Navy, & Ivory | Real San Diego Wedding

Eliza & Dennis were married last July at the church of the Immaculate Conception in Old Town. I was so incredibly happy to share in the planning with them and even more so once the big day arrived. As an added bonus, their best man was a groomsman from a previous wedding making this celebration just that much more fun! You can see the “live action” iphone photos from our facebook fan page here. Their beautiful paperie was designed by the talented, Love at First Invite, unfortunately, we only got a picture of the program- SS TIP for future brides, make sure that you have a spare invitation for your photographers to shoot photos of!

After the ceremony, guests headed to The Prado at Balboa Park where they were greeted by the jovial sounds of Mariachi Real de San Diego, I tell ya, I can’t ever get enough of live Mariachi music! The room was decorated with medium-sized,  sophisticated but bountiful centerpieces from Wholesale Flowers, who also decorated the delicious Flour Power cake. The favors were lovely glass Moravian stars and guests tables were numbered with Spanish tiles, both which were purchased locally in Seaport Village.

The color palette for the wedding was simple but delightful; Ivory, Gold, Orange, with a touch of Navy Blue. Eliza’s dress was stunning too! She finished her look with a gorgeous birdcage veil and over-sized flower that was the perfect accent to her lustrous curls assembled by Marisa Von Sheere, it was magnificent! The boys looked quite dapper too in their gray suits.

The party went on till the wee hours of the evening with tunes from JMC Events and it was all captured by Aaron & Samantha of AS Photography. Thanks guys for sharing this great images!

  1. Looked like a great wedding. I enjoyed the details in the photos. The bride looks fabulous with the details in her wedding dress.
