Chocolate, Fuschsia & Ivory | Real San Diego Wedding

Almost a year ago, Jennifer & George tied the knot at the Maderas Golf Club in Rancho Bernardo. From the moment I met them I could tell that they were a no fuss couple, which became apparent as we planned their wedding.

Jenn’s sister, Delisa, designed the flower graphic which would become the centerpiece for all their paperie. The chocolate, fuchsia, and ivory palette was styled to render a simple and modern atmosphere. The candle centerpieces and amber up-lighting provided a warm feel to the reception, and everyone danced the night away getting a little pick-me-up from the chocolate covered apples favors part way through the night. To add a bit of kick, literally, the bridal party donned color-coordinating converse tennis shoes post ceremony. I even got to wear mine! Most comfortable day spent on my feet!

The most memorable part of this wedding for me was telling Jenn a dirty joke right as she began her processional, it proved to be the perfect antidote to the happy jitters she was experiencing right before walking down the isle. I love the picture below that caught her mid-laugh as she came around the corner to make her way to George.
